This Saturday, November 22nd, 2025, Tanguy Nef gave us a superb performance in the slalom in Gurgl.

He finished second in the first run with bib number 9, just 17 hundredths of a second behind the leader. This is the second time he has finished in the top two in run 1 (the last time was in Garmisch in February 2022, where he finished first with bib number 25).

It was a beautiful demonstration of finesse and dynamism. In the end, he finished fifth in this race.

This suggests a superb season ahead and perhaps a podium finish soon? A victory? A medal at the Olympics in February 2026?

The question is no longer if, but when?
